As students in fancy MFA programs, The Great MFA Debate is one Jessi and I have regularly. Except it usually goes like this:
One of Us: My degree is stupid. I should go to law school.
The Other One: You’d hate law school.
The First One: Yeah, you’re right.
The roles we play are interchangeable, but the dialogue stays the same. So it may be worth reading somebody else’s take on it if you’re considering getting a fancy MFA of your own.
