How Not To Do Your Twenties

I work out every morning. One of my best friends has a serious they-are-basically-married-already boyfriend and she always says that once I am in a similar situation, I will stop working out entirely. To this, I defiantly cry “bullshit” each and every time and not just because woe to the dude who wants to spend time with me if I’m without the mood enhancing effects of my yoga practice. But I mostly think that’s nonsense because I am a firm believer in establishing a routine for yourself, especially when you are in your twenties. Do that shit now, you guys. It’ll change and morph, sure, but establishing even the slightest semblance of a routine will help you feel a little more anchored in this crazy and tumultuous decade. I don’t care if it’s a daily workout routine or a weekly booze brunch with some friends, but find something and stick with it so you don’t feel the days and weeks disappearing around you. You’ll be happy you did.
