This is an email my aunt sent to my sister and a young gentleman she is setting my sister up with.
This is not a joke. Although my sister and I wish it was.
OK…I’m emailing both of you.. I hope you will find time to meet each other. I was with [boy]’s mom this week at [our extended family’s vacation home in FL] and I mentioned fixing up my perfect niece. And [mallory’s sister]… [boy]’s mom was your mom’s roommate at Brown.
I think you will enjoy each other’s company…

3. you both have been to school on the [mallory sister’s alma mater] campus
4. you both know how to teach [sidebar: my sister is a teacher]
5. you have moms that were friends years ago
6. you both know how great [our extended family’s vacation home in FL] is

Certainly enough in common to meet. You have each other’s email. My suggestion to [boy] is to reach out to [mallory’s sister]. She has been raised in a traditional home!!!
